In Larrabee Valley, just outside of Carlotta to the west and Bridgeville to the east is Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park. Relatively inland for Redwoods to grow. It's on the way to Trinity County on Highway 36 and is less than one square mile making it the smallest of the Redwood State Parks. It still has some nice trees however, and locals still own some private parcels with regenerating Redwoods in the area, dotted along Highway 36 though Carlotta and Hydesville, before Highway 36 meets 101. A lot of the redwoods that may come up for sale here could be rather small, although there are probably some hidden gems. Redwoods flourished along the Van Duzen River and Grizzly Creek that runs through the park here.
Avenue of the Giants is a fairly well known Redwood Forest stretching 31 miles of Highway 101. The North end of the Park is just south of Rio Dell and Scotia, two miles south of Weott. Avenue of the Giants is on the old Highway 101 road and surrounded on all sides by Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Humboldt Redwoods State Park has the largest remaining stand of virgin old growth redwood trees in the world. Any town here, is going to have redwood properties: Rio Dell, Scotia, Pepperwood, Redcrest, Larrabee, Weott, and all the small towns around that have private property will likely have redwoods. Redwood properties can be found from here all the way the county line. The Park itself ends in Garberville.
Occasionally commercial properties, like restaurants, gift and novelty shops that eek out a living on the Avenue of the Giants will go up for sale. Some of the older trees were left alone to attract tourist and visitors to their businesses. Weott is the welcome center to the park, and town such as South of Eureka and east on Highway 36, just past Carlotta in the Larrabee Valley you'll find the Grizzly Creek State Park Redwoods has an impressive stand of Redwoods being as far inland as it is. It's accessed by towns like Carlotta, Hydesville, Dinsmore, Bridgeville and more interior towns.
On Highway 101 going further south just past Rio Dell and Scotia, the North end of the Avenue of the Giants beings to take hold as you enter Humboldt Redwoods State Park. There are many impressive places you can stop along the route with many places to hike and see the trees. The little towns hold small parcels of private property off Highway 101. There is a welcome center in Weott. which is about half way through the Avenue of The Giants... Further towards the coast, Honeydew, Briceland, Ettersberg have property you can buy. Pepperwood, Redcrest Miranda, Myers Flat, Phillipsville will all have Redwood properties and real estate in them. You'll drive through 31 miles of redwoods until you get to the Redway, Garberville area where the southern end of the park is. In total there are over 50,000 acres of redwood trees in the park. There is a lot of redwood tourism on the route and occasionally these businesses go up for sale. Garberville, Redway, Miranda, Phillipsville and Myers Flat are closer to the southern end of the park.
While Avenue of the Giants ends in Garberville, Richardson Grove State Park of over 2000 acres begins.
